Buddy...our sweet Buddy! Buddy was found during a TNR to be in less than good health. The volunteer doing the TNR knew she couldn't leave him to his demise and spent her own money to have him seen at the vet. Buddy has been on the mend for the past month (as of 5/9), is negative for feline leukemia, treated for parasites and has been on antibiotics to rid him of was ailing him. He is still on the mend but doing MUCH better and we expect a full recovery (although we were unsure for the past month). We found out from his caretaker during the TNR that he once belonged to a neighbor and she abandoned him when she moved. He fended for himself for a few months afterward but luckily the nice lady next door fed him. Buddy is THE sweetest and most forgiving baby and he has been through a lot in his short life. It's time that Buddy finds his forever family who can show him love and let him know that they will not ever abandon him again. Buddy's adoption fee has been graciously sponsored by Bob Camarena and Kansas City Pond and Water Gardening, Kansas City.
